Golden dunes, silence and a sky full of stars
Ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, eat dinner by the fire and wake up to a sunrise you'll talk about for years.
Near the village of Merzouga, the Erg Chebbi dunes rise out of the flat desert like a wave of orange sand. There is no traffic here and no city glow, only wind, drums around the fire, and more stars than you have ever seen.
Our desert team are Amazigh (Berber) families who have lived at the edge of the Sahara for generations. They lead the camels, cook the tagines, and know the dunes well enough to find the perfect spot for sunrise.
Every experience is led by a local guide and can be made private. Tap one to see how the day goes and ask for a price.
